I have used this cute little girl created by the talented Mi Ran.  She looks like she is on her way to give someone special a pressie. Do yourself a favour and hop over to Mi Ran's Etsy shop and check out her awesome digi creations, here. You can purchase her here.

The image has been coloured with Derwent H2O water colour pencils and a pencil blender. The sentiments are from Paulette {Create with TLC} and can be purchased here. The embellishments have been created with folded square punch-outs. The design papers are amongst other from Fabscrabs and BasicGrey.  The buttons and ribbon are from my stash.

The image has been coloured with Derwent H2O water colour pencils and a pencil blender which I have used for the first time. I have also used a white paint marker for the white highlights. The sentiment is from Paulette {Create with TLC} and can be purchased here.  The tree embellishments have been created with folded tag punches. the design papers are from Fabscrabs and BoBunny.  The bling and buttons are from my stash.

DARE TO BE DIFFERENT

{PLAYING WITH A FRESH BREWED IMAGE}

Hope all my lovely Followers have started to wind down this festive season and recharging the batteries for 2014.

Fresh Brewed Designs has got a wonderful Candy Challenge running and I was tempted to play along.  One need to use a Fresh Brewed Image to play along, so I went and purchased these funky girls called Totally 80's, here.  The girls were coloured with Copics.  The design papers are all from my stash and scraps file, so too the buttons.  The embellishments were created with a Fold It Swirls template.  The sentiment is from Eureka Stamps and can be purchased here.

Thanks once again for all your wonderful visits here at my little space in blog land and for all the inspirational comments you leave - please know that each and every comment is treasured.  Leaving you with pics of jars of fudge I made for our Family Christmas get together, held last weekend.  The fudge took me about 3 days to make on the stove top, but it was all worth it to see the happy faces receiving it.

XMAS 2011 - The Table & Menu

Once again we were blessed in having some special eats for the day. I made each Xmas guest a jar filled with fudge and chocolate brownies made by yours truly and then popped each jar into an organza bag with a little tag containing a Xmas message. Then I popped in some silver holly decorations into each organza bag and placed the jars in the middle of the Xmas table to form the centre piece.

The menu - cold meats and salads:

Roasted Turkey with stuffing - ordered from Spar Broadacres, Leg of Lamb, Gammon, Tongue, Corn Salad, Walford Salad, Potatoe Salad, Mixed Salad, Homemade Mustard and Apple Sauce and Mint Sauce. Pavlova with Berries for desert.

XMAS 2011 - Fernridge Estate

We were blessed with gorgeous Xmas day weather in Gauteng and the little ones enjoyed themselves in the water. It was special to have Heidi with her precious family and her Dad and his wife with us for the day. The day was super relaxed.
