WHAT DOES 'DF' STAND FOR - Take a Guess!
This is a question which has been popping up quite often lately during my scrapbooking classes in the Blue Room. The shocking answer to this question came to existence one late Thursday evening.
As procrastination is a common trait amongst us human beings, it so happens that some of my scrapbooking students has a tendency to yak and yak and yak some more for the first two and half hours of their 3-hour lesson and then attempt to complete their layouts, write up their bills, finish off numerous topics of conversation and pack away their tools of the trade during the last half hour of their lesson. It is therefore natural that once in a while a frantic and bewildered student accidentally packs away some or other tool of Tha Teacha into their crop stations or Totally Cool Bags.
It was therefore not surprising one evening when one half of the Greek Connection hesitantly flashed Tha Teacha's 30x30cm template above her head and sheepishly admitted that she has been in possession of it for a whole fortnight, dangerously leaving Tha Teacha in a confused state of mind for two weeks.
One of the Teacher's pets aka Libby (undergoing an identify crisis), interrupted the Greek Connection and enquired whether the Greek does not know what '{DF}' stand for which is written on the template.
Whilst the Greek had a quick think about this another self-proclaimed Teacher's Pet proudly announced that 'DF' stands for {D}AMN {F}OOL'. A sudden hush swept through the Blue Room leaving Tha Teacha deeply hurt discovering that some of her students believe that she is a '{D}AMN {F}OOL' and not {D}esire {F}ourie. Tha Teacha has consoled herself with the knowledge that it takes one Damn Fool to see another.

    Hi Teacha

I have no idea what kits TP is going on about but please keep me a set too.

As for, it takes one D Fool to see another the only D F would be Carol..... What is your second name Desire we will have to change you initials to D ? F so as not to confuse Carol. (which doesn't take much)..... I still love you Carol

Singing off "The better half of the Greek Connection.... "

Michelle - (with the long name that I still can't figure out) I can't believe that you are suggesting that someone (not mentioning any names ) in our Thursday gang could be D "O" F????? I think we might need to re-arranging a scrapping date with the TP gang and the Botha's hill gang to get to the bottom of this.......... (Between you and me - 'm guessing it was either Carol, Nicola, Stella, Robyn or the Mamba you were referring to - couldn't possibly be me or my darling teacha :) )

  11. Thanks Libby for sorting this one out. Now your darling Teach is a bit D'O'F. Did not know what Michelle with the loooong name meant when she said that she hopes Tha Teacha's second name does not start with an 'O'

  12. TP Gang, I was not insinuating that any of you were D "O" F, but if Desire did have a second name starting with an "O", imagine what someone would have said if they had seen those initials, seeing as they did not know what "DF" stood for!!!!!

As for the long name, why don't we see who can come up with what it means??

I will put something on my new blog - scrappywalker.blogspot.com and let's see who comes close. Desire, you can't be involved here, and no bribes will be accepted!!!

    Regards
