MARKO CELEBRATES HIS 11TH DAY!

We saw Heidi's third little bambino, Marko, for the very first time this past Saturday and he was already 11 days old. Marko was born just after 9am on Wednesday, 10 March 2009 and weighed 3.22kg. I know everyone says this of a newborn, but Marko is really just the most beautiful, perfect little human being. He is so peaceful and have been sleeping right through the night from nearly his very first day here on mother earth.

Just after we arrived at Heidi and Bernhardt's home in Hartebeespoort Dam, Marko had his bottle and of course got back to his sweet dreams immediately. But, I just had to take some pics of him with his proud family, so Heidi was so kind to agree that we could carry on snapping away, even got him undressed whilst sleeping, without him even moaning just a little. You can see in the pics below that he was sleeping most of the time, unaware of all the fuss going on around him.

I refrained from using a flash, as this would have hurt his eyes, but fortunately the natural light streaming through the windows was just the perfect soft lighting to take the portraits. I have put these pictures onto a screen saver slideshow for my computer, as I just can't stopping oohing over little Marko.

Alisha is a very proud little sister, as she just could not let Marko out of her sight.
