The picture below was given to the design team for inspiration. I used the fan effect of her dress as inspiration and interpreted it with another iris folding design. The fan effect of the iris folds resembles that of the skirt and of course red is the ultimate colour associated with sensuality ... say no more.
I am also entering the above card for the following challenges:
- Something Completely Different: Week 46 - B is for felt Buttons
- Crafty Angels: Week 30 - My favourite things {just love felt embellishments}
- Papertake Weekly Challenge - Cutie Pie {isn't the little mice too cute?}
- Stamp Something - Stitch Something {faux stitching around the mice}
Below is a card design Michelle taught me during her visit in March. When hubby saw it he said it reminded him of scaffolding (very apt I must say), so from now on this is a scaffold card design. Thanks Michelle for the inspiration.
... and here is another iris folding design with cute little mice.
Me and hubby did another 21.1km in Benoni on Sunday morning as part of our training for the Knysna half marathon in July which I am going to walk and hubby will be running the full marathon. I walked the 21.1km on Sunday and hubby ran/walked it with me, just that he is forced to be on his feet longer and not to push himself too hard, which he usually does when he runs on his own. My time was 2 hours 44 minutes. It was overcast with a chilly wind and it was one of the few races I have done during which I was cold for the whole distance. It was also a difficult route in that it was flat resulting in the same parts of the body doing the work all the time, whereas with an undulating course it alternates different muscles. Thanks for again for taking some time out to pop in here.
what a great card - love the term scaffold card! think that might just stick.
