This week's challenge put the DT over at DDCC is to create something portraying a vintage summer. So this is the closest I could get to the theme. I scanned a colour post card and then adjusted the colours to brown ... I think the three Dolly's with their umbrellas represent a vintage summer quite well. Once again {boring I know} I used the iris folding technique in the circle backdrop. The patterned cardstock are from Basic Grey, Art from the Heart and Fabscraps. Art from the Heart and Fabscraps are proudly South African manufactured cardstock.
Below is a photo of the prize winners at the Forever Memories Sclrapbooking Conference held in Cape Town, during May this year. Yours truly are second from the left and Sheila Corfe in the middle. This was published in the June/July 2010 Scrapbooking & Kie's issue on page 52.
