We did the Wally Hayward 10km road race in Centurion this morning and could not ask for better weather. It was a 5/10/21.1/42.2km road race and there were probably close to 10,000+ athletes. Having a nice resting sit down in front of the computer for the rest of the day.
My dear blogger friend and staunch Follower here, Helen aka Scrap Addict, loved the card creation I designed after Paulette from Create with TLC , approached me to be a once of guest designer for TLC. I used one of my favourite digi images from TLC's website to create it with. In fact, Helen loved the card so much that she left the following comments for me:
Wow I completely love this - it is absolutely beautiful...I hope you keep this gorgeous creation for your desk & don't give it away!!

I'm just back to say I CANNOT TAKE MY EYES OFF THIS CREATION lol!! I would love to buy it if it is for sale :) It would look great in our hallway & I would frame it in a box frame as a little "piece". Let me know :)

Needless to say, I felt so honoured by this huge complement from one of SA's most creative scrapbookers/crafters - please visit her magnificent blog and feast your eyes on Helen's creativity. In the meantime I have posted this card to her and can't wait to see it box mounted and displayed i.e. there is no way that I would have sold the card, as most of you creative souls know that one cannot put a price on time spent lovingly creating our creations.
Before I sent the card off, I created another version with the same image and just changed the stamped flowers and sentiment as well as made the colour combo more monochromatic. So here is the second version.
... oh, and it would be great if you could let me know which version you like the most, the first version or this monochromatic version.
