THINGS ...
{Sweet Stampin: Guest DT Project}

Tracey from Sweet Stampin approached me during April 2012, inviting me to be a guest designer for them for a month.  Thank you so much Tracey, I am very excited designing four creations for the month of July for you.  So this is my fourth and last Guest DT project for the 4th challenge for July over at Sweet Stampin.  The Theme is 'Christmas in July!'.  

I have created another easel card with my favourite Flower Folding technique using only squares. The flower on this card has been created with 5x5cm scalloped square punch-outs using my Upikit punch. I saw this technique being demonstrated on YouTube . Using double sided Upikit design cardstock gives it an extra dimension. This whole card even the backdrop to the folded flower has been created with 5x5cm square punch-outs. 

At least I've got another Xmas card for 2012 done and dusted.


I tried my hand for the first time at creating a jpg for my sentiment.  So here's a freebie from me to you - just right click on the sentiment and save to your computer:

    At the 52 {C}CT we do have a 10 challenge limit and we also asked participants to use a minimum of 3 brads so sadly your card doesn't meet our challenge requirements this week. However, I loved seeing your card - thank you so much for sharing it with us at 52 {C}CT! Ruth x
