{Digi Stamps 4 Joy DS4J: DT Project Challenge #49}
This is another DT Project for a challenge over at DS4J's blog. The theme for Challenge No.49 is BACK TO SCHOOL. I have created a centre step card using the 'BACK TO COLLEGE COLLEEN' and 'SCHOOL BAG' Digi Stamps from DS4J's shop. You can find Colleen here and the School Bag here. The images were coloured with H2O's and dry chalks. The design papers are from Basic Grey and FabScraps. The circle embellishments were created with various circle punches.
So hop on over to DS4J's blog and link your BACK TO SCHOOL creation to Challenge #49.

I have used a tent card design for this card and here is a step by step tutorial (excuse the well-worn self-healing mat - at least you can see that it works over time ... ha ha ha)
STEP 1
Cut a piece of cardstock measuring: 29 x 14.5cm
Score this piece of cardstock on 3, 6, 9 and 26cm and fold on scored lines as follows:
It should look like this from the top when folded
STEP 2
Apply two strips of adhesive (I have used double sided tape) as follows:
STEP 3
Cut another piece of cardstock measuring: 17 x 14.5cm
This piece of cardstock will be used to close the other side of the tent card, as follows:
STEP 4
Now mount the 17 x 14cm piece of cardstock (Step 3) onto the two pieces of adhesive (Step 2) to close the tent card, as follows:
When put upright it should look like this:
Decorate to your hearts content.
Hope this tutorial is clear enough.
