{DT Project Tammy's Scrapin Corner: Challenge #42}
Another lovely relaxing weekend, except for teaching a card class the whole of Saturday, but hey that is always so fun for me. I am sure most of you are winding down, or must I say up, for Christmas. Hope you will have a blessed Christmas celebrating with your family and friends.
This week our theme for Challenge #42 at Tammy's Scrapin Corner is Bingo (see the Bingo Board below). I used the If Friends were Flowers image from Bugaboo. You can purchase it here. This was such a versatile digi to colour and create with as it is an image and sentiment all in one.

You are probably falling off your chairs as its not a another centre step card lol, but this time I tried my hand for the first time at this specific tri-fold card. The very talented Carla was the inspiration behind this. I have printed the image twice, one a bit bigger than the other and used the bigger one for the front of the card. I have also cropped the butterfly from the image and scaled it in various sizes to colour and use as embellishments on the card. I have used H2O's again for the colouring. And of course a girl cannot live without bling. I have done a tutorial with a template (see below) which is in inches and centimetres. So hope I have accommodated everyone this time with the measurements.
Here is the template for this tri-fold card design. A very rustic template I know, but I think you will get the drift.
Once you have embellished the inside of the card, turn it over and apply double sided tape on the back as follows and mount it on another base card (measurements on template above). Tip: Using a darker colour than that of the card itself gives great depth to the card.
Now decorate the front of the card to your heart's content.
I would love to hear from you should you give this design a go. Its quite time consuming, but the result is so satisfying.
Here is the Bingo board and I really do hope you will play along with our BINGO Challlenge this week at Tammy's Scrapin Corner.
