{Guest Artist: Ezine - Art with no Boundaries - Project 2}
Here is my second project as a Guest Artist for Art with no Boundaries' 2nd Edition of their Monthly Ezine.
For this project I used this gorgeous Angel Face designed by the very talented Chris Stern. The sentiment is one of the Big Tree Sentiments that comes in a set of three with the Striped Tree digi and you can purchase it here. Once again, I felt that this specific sentiment compliments this Angel Face perfectly. The image was printed twice on white cardstock. On one print her hair was coloured with H2O water colour pencils. The coloured hair was then cut out and paper pieced onto the second printed image with foam tape. Her dress was then coloured with H2O's on the second print. The final coloured and paper pieced second print was then fussy cut and some faux stitching done around the edges. Dry chalks were used to soften the face, neck as well as on the sentiment.
The card design is a centre step design, and my dedicated Followers will know that this is no surprise as it is my favourite card design.
I used the LiveLoveSingDance Background Digi also designed by Chris Stern and printed it on yellow BasicGrey design paper and used it as a background to the image as well as strips of it on the side panels of the card. All the other design papers are also from BasicGrey.
So hop on over to Ezine - Art with No Boundaries for some creative inspiration.
