Another design team project for our bi-weekly challenge over at DS4J's challenge blog. The theme for Challenge No.73 is MAKE YOUR OWN EMBELLISHMENTS. Our talented Ursula is hosting this challenge. Thanks Ursula for choosing such a lovely theme for us this fortnight.
Another centre step design. I have used the ALOE digi from DigiStamps4Joy and you can find it here . I have also used the KAROO WATER digi and you can find it here.
The aloes and Karoo scene have been coloured with Copics. The sky on the scenery has been coloured with dry chalks using a masking technique, which is my very first attempt at masking lol. the design papers are from Basic Grey and Fabscraps. The sentiment was coloured with dry chalks and is a freebie from Sharon {A Piece of Heart}. The corner embellishments were created by folding pieces of paper squares.
Once again I would love to try my hand at the following challenges with this creation:
- Through the Craftroom Door: Anything Goes (2/2)
- Make it Monday: Anything Goes
- Inspire me Fridays: Anything Goes
- Sister Act: Anything Goes
- Word Art Wednesday: Anything Goes with Uplifting Sentiment
- Fussy and Fancy: More than One Fold
- LORi Designs: Designer Paper
- Craftin Boutique: Anything Goes
- Shelly's Images: Oh Scrap (all the design paper has been from my scraps file)
- 613 Avenue Create: Anything Goes + Use a Sentiment (3/3)
- The Crazy Challenge: Anything Goes
- Hanna and Friends: Anything Goes
- Crafty Bloggers Network: Favourite Things (definitely paper folded embellishments)
- Chalk N Stock: Anything Goes with Chalk (chalked the background) (1/2)
- MilkCoffee: Show us your colouring skills (used chalks and Copics)
- Chocolate, Coffee & Cards: Colour Inspiration
- Squigglefly: Masculine Card
- Papertake Weekly: Anything Goes+Optional Vintage Twist
- Oldie but a Goodie Challenge: Male Cards (the design papers have been in my stash for more than a year)
