{Digi Stamps 4 Joy DS4J: NEW RELEASES}
A design team project for our new releases over at DS4J's shop this Sunday. I have used the fun NEW country scene and the cute little girl called PATCHWORK COUNTRY and THELMA.
Hop over to DS4J's blog and have a look at the gorgeous creations my talented design team mates have created with some of the wonderful new release images.
The folded embellishments and folded corners have been created with scallop square punches. The design papers and buttons are from my stash. The images and sentiment have been coloured with Copics and dry chalks.
The beautiful sentiment is from Paulette {Create with TLC}.

What a fabulous use of multiple large images, Desire! I love the colors, and the organic flavor of this project. Especially, it reminds me of the Wizard of Oz with Dorothy's many adventures in Baum's other Oz books. Really great folded embellies, too.
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed all of this month's projects, Desire, with your special ability of bringing wonderful elements together to tell special stories. Always a lot of heartfelt symbolism in your cards.
I am beginning to feel a little better. Still difficult to use my fingers, as my hand-eye coordination is very poor, and the fatigue is exhausting! LOL But I can sit up now for brief periods of time, and enjoy doing some things around the house. I have missed you and your pretty cards very much. love, de
I continue to be amazed by the increasing complexity of the projects you create! You always manage to incorporate "unexpected" elements and it gives your work it's own special elegance and visual appeal. This one is a particular favorite of mine. Lovely card. It puts me in mind of all the planting that is finally happening on Prince Edward Island in the last few weeks. I'm pretty sure all of the snow patches are now gone.
