FIND JOY IN THE JOURNEY

{DT Project Path of Positivity: Challenge #9}

This month our theme for Challenge #9 at Path of Positivity is JOY.  

Don't forget to find something joyful in every single day. Little things like the smell of newly cut grass, a bird's joyful song early in the morning and the smell of raindrops, makes a day super special and joyous for me.

I used the beautiful Christmas Holly from Fresh Brewed who is one of our sponsors this week. You can purchase her here.   The wonderful and inspiring sentiment, all about joy, was also designed by Lisa herself.

The light pink design paper is from Basic Grey.  I have coloured the image and holly leaves with Copic Markers and the sentiment with dry chalks.  The holly leave embellishments is one of the holly leaves I cropped from her dress, blown it up and printed it a few times.

Recently I was the lucky winner of a wonderful give-away on Annie's blog and received these awesome goodies from her in the post. Thank you so much to everyone who wished us well with our recent move.  We are just about settled into our new apartment and at least my little workroom is open for business and this card was one of the first creations I did in it.  Signing off with a photo I took of the recent flash flood of the Jukskei river just in front of our complex, this past Thursday afternoon:
