ONE STITCH AT A TIME {CS Designs Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent Challenge Blog}

{CS Designs Recycle Challenge}

I was so thrilled when the lovely and very talented Chris Stern from CS Designs approached me to do a guest designer project for her December Challenge.  And of course I did not even hesitate with the YES answer.

Chris gave me this awesome SEWING SERIES to play with.  Now this set has everything you will need for any sewing themed projects.  And I am sure you will agree, they are just so versatile.
Here is a link to Chris's online shop i.e. CS Designs.

The CS Designs Recycle, Re-Purpose & Re-Invent Challenge is all about upcycling any items you would have trashed.  I have used an empty baby milk powder tin for my project.  A friend of mine has a 9 month old baby girl and goes through about 5 of these tins a month and has been saving the empty tins for yours truly.  The tin is quite large and makes for a lovely container gifting a gift with.

Hop over and have a look at me and the other guest designer(s) projects and reduce your carbon footprint here on earth by upcycling an item and enter it into the challenge.  The them is Anything Goes.

For my project I used cardstock circle punch-outs for the folded embellishments.  I have coloured the buttons on the lid with Copics.  The brads and buttons are from my stash.  The measuring tapes round the top and bottom of the tin is also part of the Sewing Series, so too the image on the lid, the sentiment and the manikins,

Once again I would love to try my hand at the following challenges with this creation:

613 Avenue Create: Anything Goes + Optional Twist
Sister Act Card Challenge - ATG
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge
Word Art Wednesday - ATG with a Sentiment
Through the Craft Room Door - ATG (2/2)
Scrapbook Stamp Society - ATG (3/3)
Inspiration Destination - ATG
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - ATG
Its all about the Vintage - Home made embellishments - (the folded embellishments have been created with circle punches)

Thank you for stopping by and I trust that you enjoyed your visit here xxx
