{Digi Stamps 4 Joy DS4J: DT Project Challenge #55}

This is another DT Project for a challenge over at DS4J's blog.  The theme for Challenge No.55 is GIVING THANKS.  

I have created a centre step card using the talented Margy's FARM SCENERY digi from Digistamps4Joy as the background and superimposed the cute APPLE ANNIE  on it. You can find the FARM SCENERY here and APPLE ANNIE here at the DS4J's shop.

The images were coloured with H2O's and dry chalks.  The sentiment is a freebie from Create with TLC.  The folded flowers were created with scallop edged square punches.  The design papers are from BasicGrey and FabScraps.

This little farm scene reminds me of my childhood years growing up on a farm in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. We had a similar shed where the cows were milked and I often helped. Love how the steamy milk came from the udders and often squirted some milk straight into my mouth. I was also a chubby little girl just like Apple Annie here. Very thankful to my late adoptive parents affording me the opportunity of careless days spent playing in the mountains on the farm - priceless.
