MARKO turns 3

This little Free Weelin Wally digi came straight to mind for a birthday card for Marko.  And as usual my colouring is very unprofessional.  I still want to go for a lesson or two on using Pro Markers as I am using H2O's and just cant seem to get the hang of it.  Anyone know where one can purchase Pro Markers at a reasonable price in South Africa?

Cant believe 3 years can fly past without a blink and I am sure Heidi (Marko's Mum) will totally agree.  Marko is such a cheerful little chappie with no inhibitions whatsoever.  He investigates and to everything with gusto and always a smile on his face.

XMAS 2011 - Fernridge Estate

We were blessed with gorgeous Xmas day weather in Gauteng and the little ones enjoyed themselves in the water. It was special to have Heidi with her precious family and her Dad and his wife with us for the day. The day was super relaxed.

NEL FAMILY PICS

Just a quick post with some family pics I took of Marko and his family on 20 September. Marko's Mom, Heidi was curious to see some of the photos, so here are a few shots.

We did our first 90 minute yoga class last night in which we did quite a few different poses. I am a bit stiff and sore today, but hopefully some work in the garden will ease the muscles. Thanks again for taking some time out to pop in here. Wishing you all a fab Tuesday.

21st LAYOUT + SOME PARTY PICS

Above is the next layout in Duane's 21st Album. This layout is of Duane posing with his Mom Belinda at his birthday cake. Everyone at the celebration had to come dressed as something or someone starting with the first letter of Duane's name i.e. 'D'. Belinda was dressed as a Diva and of course Duane as himself.

Below are some of the Grey Loeries who are currently feasting on all the aloe flowers in our garden. Sometimes there are five of them sitting on one cluster of flowers. I put out some fruit on a daily basis for the fruit eating birds and of course the Loerie's can't help themselves. They squeeze themselves around, onto and into the bird feeder just to get a bite of the fruit ... as the pics below illustrates.

Below are some pics I took at Alisha's recent 5th birthday party. It was mostly family that celebrated her birthday on this day, as she had two previous parties earlier in the week celebrating with most of her school friends.

The highlight was decorating their own cupcakes with brightly coloured icing, sprinkles and various other treats. As can be seen, it looked more like a face painting party. But, I guess the most imporant thing is that they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
