Liesl, my niece's 30th birthday was on 7 March. Happy birthday Liesl and welcome to the Dirty Thirties. Dutch Dare's challenge put to the Design Team this week was to make a small gift box. And yes, you won't believe it, but I have made yet another pouch gift box. This is just such a versatile template to use. One can dress the pouch up or down, whichever way you feel like. I have made this necklace for Liesl and thought the little pouch gift box is just the perfect size to put it in. If anyone would like the template, just email me (link in side bar) and I will get the pdf file off to you at once. I have also entered this little gift box for the ABC challenge this week which is Flowers as well as the Limited Supply challenge over at Our Creative Corner.
At last I have also managed to complete the 100 photo ice cream sticks for the cupcakes at Duane's 21st celebration. Hopefully I will be able to take a pic of the 100 cupcakes, which will be decorated in red and black with the photo sticks in them and packed out in the shape of a 21.
We returned from Cape Town on Monday and once again I realised that the Mother City and its surrounding small coastal villages must be the most beautiful on our planet. Everything is so clean and the people so friendly and helpful, not to speak of the beautiful scenery ... can't say the same of Gauteng (Gangster's Paradise). Hopefully I will do a post soon with some pics of Cape Town. Thank you so much for all your kind and encouraging comments. I will pop over soon to all your little spots in blog land and have a look at what you have been up to the last week or so. Don't forget to sign up as a follower of Doing Life in the side bar. Enjoy the rest of your week.
