{GDT Fussy and Fancy}
What a surprise when Sally-Ann from Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenges informed me that I have won a Guest Designer spot with them, with one of my entries in their challenges. Needless to say that I was honoured. I was asked to create a card to the theme of their Pearls and Flowers Challenge. I used Sitting Ballerina from DigiStamps4Joy and you can find her here.
I created centre step card and coloured the image with H2O's and dry chalks,. The designer papers are from BasicGrey.
So hop on over to Fussy and Fancy Challenge Blog and have a look at me featuring as guest designer as well as their Design Team's gorgeous creations.
Venturing over at the following challenges with this:
My friend and fantastic Design Team Leader over at Tammy's Scrapin Corner awarded me with this. Tammy I am truly honoured and you always make me blush. You are such an inspiration to your design team and I always wonder how you do it all. But, they do say that if you want something done, give it to a busy person. I would love to pass this wonderful award on to the following amazing ladies who truly inspire me with their wonderful talents:
1. Include award logo in blog post.
2. Thank the blogger who gave it to you and include a link back to them.
3. Answer 10 questions about yourself, that you have made up yourself.
4. Nominate 10-12 bloggers and contact them at their blog site to inform them
Thanks again for taking time out of your busy schedules to pop in here. Hope you enjoyed your visit.

- What are the type of activity that you do if you are not crafting? I love being active and do a lot of spinning at the gym as well as some road running over the weekends. Then gardening and photography are another two passions.
- What type of books do you like to read? Thrillers and of course anything crafty.
- How do you manage to do so many cards? I am currently on three wonderful design teams, namely Tammy's Scrapin Corner, DigiStamps4Joy and Lady Anne's Friday Sentiment. Being on design teams really keeps one motivated to keep on creating. I love trying new paper folding techniques on my cards which I carry over to scrapbooking layouts.
- What's your favorite holiday? Hiking in the mountains of South Africa and enjoying nature at its best.
- What did you want to be when you grew up? An archeologist. I love scratching in the ground ... lol, but instead I became an executive secretary as my parents thought that archeology is not a place for a women.
- What's your favorite animal? Meerkats
- Which is your favorite season? Winter is the best as one can always snuggle up and be cosy, but in summer you can't always take everything off - well it will be a sight for sore eyes if I did.
- What type of music do you like? Anything current.
- What's a perfect evening? Being at home with my life partner and darling hubby of 28 years.
- If you would win a million bucks what would you do? I would definitely see to at that my family in law are all comfortable with life and the rest I would put into a nest egg for retirement.
So now it's my turn to choose some people to pass this award to!
This was really tough as there are hundreds of wonderfully talented bloggy friends I would like to pass this award onto, so please don't feel offended if you did not receive this award from me.
I really hope that the people that I choose will accept this award. In no particular order then ...
- Helen Tilbury @ Scrap Addict -She is a fellow South African and one seriously talented artist as well as one of the most sincere friends I know in blogland. Please visit Helen and I am sure you will be in awe of her stunning scrapbook creations.

- Hannelie @ Desert Diva - An ex South African who currently resides in Abu Dhabi. Hannelie's clean and simple card creations are very elegant - a style which I think is very difficult to achieve, but she executes it beautifully. Hannelie is very generous in designing sentiments which she share's for free on her blog. I have used many of her stunning sentiments on my creations. So if you are struggling to find the perfect sentiment for your creation, just hop on over to Hannelie.
- Alessandra @ Alessandras Creations - I just love Alessandra's beautiful card creations. She definitely has a style of her own. What attracts me most to her creations is the way she starts each new post in the third person with her darling feline friend Bailey, giving an update on Alessandra's life and introducing her card. I always have a good chuckle at Bailey's humour.
- Brenda @ Floral Fantasies - Brenda is a very talented artist and I am always in awe of her creations. Each creation is a true masterpiece and she is the queen of background techniques. To be blown away with beautiful cards - don't postpone, hop on over to Brenda right now.

- Jacqui @ Cats Whiskers - Here's another seriously talented artist with a wonderful creative flair. Her creations have so much to feast the eyes on from stunning textures to professional colouring - in a class of her own.
